Going Places

Hey, guys!

Something a little different today--

First, a link to London transport passes for travelers:  http://www.londonpass.com/london-transport/index.html?aid=19&gclid=CPqg2LP8gLACFUZNpgodWEZVGQ

and second, a link to a tube map!  http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf

Finally, for today, a link to a trip planner--which tube line to take to which place...  http://www.metazone.co.uk/tubemap/

OK, using the trip planner, see if you can figure out which lines to take between the following places:

Westminster to Aldgate
Trafalgar Square to Notting Hill
Kensington to Bank Junction

Good luck!--Molly

From Westminster to Aldgate, take the circle route via 8 stations. it takes 12 minutes.
Trafalgar Square to Notting Hill:
take tube at Charing cross station, change at Oxfors Circus, and stop at Notting Hill Gate through 7 station. it takes 17 minutes totally.
Kensington to Bank Junction: take the District route from Kensington to CAnnon Street via 13 station, and walk to Bank.

Good job! Think you could figure out how to get around by tube now if you ever go to London? I'm pretty sure you could probably find apps for a smartphone with subway route finders, too.
